How do I get access to prepaid wireless while in Germany? Do you find this valuable?

Just buy a prepaid SIM of Fonic for a daily internet tariff (2,50 €). See corresponding thread for details. Should be the cheapest for a sporadic use. It's an MVNO on the O2-Network with limited HSPA access. But the network is fair enough in the larger cities. Otherwise take a Vodafone WebSession. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Fonic also allows occasional use for €0.24 per MB. Another big plus with Fonic is that you can make calls to US and any EU landline for 9ct per minute !
You can but the Fonic card ( €10 ) at any LIDL supermarket. LIDL is huge, so you should be able to find one in every city in Germany.
