Prepaid Internet for PC in Italy

I don't mean to sound stupid, but in order to get wireless for my PC in Italy what exactly do I need to buy? From my research it looks as though you can't buy anything in the U.S. for use there. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

That's true for the most part. You are better off waiting until you get here and then getting a cell phone that can act as a modem (either through bluetooth or USB) and using that to get internet, or buying a USB stick. I recommend the phone route because it can then be used elsewhere. Only disadvantage of the phone is more wires. The USB stick solution is pretty clean. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?
