Auchan Mobile @Hypercard without Hardware for 29,90 €

After reading this page, i recently decided on buying the Auchan Hypercard in Perpignan. On having a Hsdpa Mobile as a modem , i wanted to buy the Sim without the Hardware. (USB-Stick). Auchan refused to do this and explainend, that the card will not work without their Hardware. The parameters and drivers needed, are provided by the Hardware with an enclosed CD. Auchan only sells the Card without Hardware on case you have bought the Hardware and your card has expired. The same information was given to me in an Orange- Mobile store. They wanted to sell their Hardware too. Has anyone other information ?.

I've just bought the sim only hoping to get my "3" USB dongle from the UK unlocked. It would be good to see some success from anyone else who has done this.

Following this thread as sking this year i used the t-mobile htc kaiser im at £7.00 per mb. £220 added to phone bill in two weeks. Got a refund but this xmas going France Italian border.. Cant see an easy PAYG data sim card in France yet. How about Italy. Thanks all in advance Pat G

There's an affordable and easy data SIM for France. It's the Orange mobicarte, which is sold for < € 10 at eBay.fr, combined with the "Internet Max" option (see: http://prepaid-wireless-internet-access.wetpaint.com/page/France+-+Orange). "Internet Max" costs € 9/month and is officially limited to handset-usage and to a monthly volume of 500 MB. But actually you can use it flawlessly from any computer and the 500 MB-limit is also not being enforced. The only limit, which applies, is the 10 MB-limit for mail traffic (SMTP, POP3, IMAP) - so instead you should use webmail to access your eMails. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
