Do I need a particular type of SIM for HSDPA speed websession

Can I buy any Vodafone Germany Call Now or Call Ya SIM on ebay.de and use it in an HSDPA data card or do I need a particular type to get a faster connection? Do you find this valuable?

Hi!

Any Vodafone Germany prepaid SIM will do. In most countries outside Germany, speed is limited to around 500 kbit/s. I suspect this has something to do with the protocol version they use to exchange subscriber information between countries. In Austria, the latest version seems to be used as I can get full HSPA speeds there. Worthless in practice since there are now good 'native' prepaid SIMs available in Austria for Internet access. But 500 kbit/s is not too shabby anyway so I have no problem with it.
