Can you use your iPhone as a modem with this aldi sim card? I don't see the point of having o2 prepaid Internet with a 5gb limit if you can't use Internet teathering! It is impossible to use that much on a mobile! Any help is muchly appriciated. Thanks.

There is no (official) possibility to use an iPhone as modem without permission from your mobile provider. Only t-mobile iPhone users can do tethering (paying 20EUR/month for the possibility + 3GB of extra traffic). Howewer, if you jailbreak (keyword: blackra1n) your device, the iPhone-as-modem usage can be enabled.

I've bought a sim card, registered it online and it it works fine in my unlocked 3 dongle, I can buy 15€ top ups in Aldi but how do I charge them to the dongle?

You can't. You need to use some dashboard, that monitors your traffic and shows statistics.

I have an Alditalk simcard bought in 2007 and it´s still active. Does it works with tagesflat tariff or just works with the already activated volume billing (0,25 Euro/MB)?

Well, thanks for the tip, but I'm going to spend just 3 days in Germany (Munich) and my AldiTalk simcard has a good amount of Euros to be used.
And the registering process is very difficult for someone with limited skills of German language...

It is online registration so nobody actually checks it. I'm using this network for regular gsm calls and the only problem is the coverage sometimes.
